This year, London & Partners will focus on a new mission to support London’s business communities and the London brand, as we prepare for longer-term recovery.
The London & Partners community
We’re supporting the London & Partners community of members, partners and stakeholders through this challenging period with a range of dedicated advice and communications, featuring the latest official information, industry updates and data-led insights.
This is alongside providing access to valuable workshops and webinars to help partners and members, practically and emotionally.
We are supporting the Mayor of London’s initiatives including the #LondonTogether and #PayItForward campaigns, as well as working with Visit Britain to determine how we can collaborate to aid London’s recovery following the coronavirus outbreak.
Valuable business support in London and overseas
London & Partners is working with business groups, the Mayor of London and other stakeholders to advise on how the government and others can support London’s businesses, while also building a comprehensive plan for the capital’s economic recovery.
We have launched the London Alliance – a community of businesses from across the city that will help drive a rapid recovery in London's economy; through the Because I'm a Londoner campaign that's built on confidence, sustainability and responsible spending.
Our trade and growth programmes are now taking place virtually so we can continue to help London’s SME businesses, and our expert teams are also hosting virtual seminars for our overseas clients.
We’ve also curated business support resources and information to help organisations understand how to access the schemes and support available during this uncertain time at business.london/coronavirus.
Finally, we're collating and sharing positive stories for London’s global business community via our Good News Room.
Engaging content for our audiences
It is our mission to help London’s culture, leisure and hospitality sectors and people to survive and thrive through coronavirus and beyond.
We’re using our Visit London channels and networks to share positive, engaging content with our audiences; provide the latest coronavirus information; support activities from members of the tourism industry; and inspire people to continue to enjoy London virtually from home.
Our multi-channel #VirtuallyLondon campaign showcases the best London live events, culture and activities to experience from home, including virtual museum tours, live event streams, plays and shows, online fitness classes and much more.
Supporting our people during this challenging period
We’re taking important steps to support the health and wellbeing of our global workforce at London & Partners.
These steps include ensuring that staff have access to mental health first-aiders and running regular wellness activities; opening the London & Partners Academy to enable colleagues to teach and learn new skills; and putting together a virtual programme of fun social activities, from weekly pub quizzes to baking competitions.
